I don’t generally make resolutions for the new year but this one was easy. I am newly retired and have an opportunity to do more of what I want to do. My first goals are to learn more photography and improve my Spanish. So, a good resolution would be to read and study the books I have, and the rest that will arrive soon.
Then, there are the variety of books on my kindle, and my collection of audio books, and the additional kindle and audio books that tempt me…. I’ve always loved books!
What have others resolved? Zemanta found a few other posts from this challenge.
Thanks so much for the pingback! I appreciate it. How did you get the snapshots to appear in the post?

When you go to “add media”, look for “set featured image”, or it’s also at the bottom right of the editing page. you’re welcome, and I’m glad it came up because I love your photos!

You’re very welcome. We pass enough info around, we’ll all get this figured out eventually.

Well since you live in a Spanish-speaking country one would think it will be fun and easier to learn the language by immersion. Enjoy!

It certainly helps, and it increases my motivation to study too. I still have a lot of occasions where I struggle to communicate and especially to understand. I don’t have a good brain for languages so it’s definitely a process! But, poco a poco (little by little) I am getting better.

just wondering if you are using any type of Spanish program like Rosetta Stone or something on the same line to brush up on your language skills….

I have used Pimsleur audio classes in the past and found them very helpful. Now I am taking classes on line with Habla Ya by internet (http://www.hablayapanama.com/) They are very professional and my teacher has helped me enormously. It’s a bonus that she is a local here and can teach me about the customs of the area.
