Weekly Photo Challenge: Reflections
THIS WEEK, IN A POST CREATED SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS CHALLENGE, SHOW US AN IMAGE THAT SAYS REFLECTION. It could be a person who helps you see things clearly, a place you go to collect your thoughts, or an object that reminds you of your achievements. You could also go for something more literal, like a reflection in water. Or something that demonstrates both interpretations of the word.
This is a photo of some reflections of boats near Panama City, Panama. Ancon Hill is in the background, a place of natural beauty and historical significance (where we happen to be staying for a few days at La Estancia). This scene also causes me to reflect on what it means to be living in this country, and how fortunate I am to be here. I took these photos while we were headed for a boat trip on the Panama Canal, which I thought was very exciting!
This is just some reflections in the water that I included because I like the scene, and I like pelicans.

They are interesting bird, though they look a bit goofy. I think they stay in warmer water though. My pleasure about the pingback. I follow your blog and love your photos.

I love the fact that you add a few links in your posts and not an endless list of links that some people put in their blogs. When people do that I just mark the pingback as what it is: spam.

I use a plugin by zemanta.com that only allows 10 pingbacks. I know what you mean. Sometimes I check a pingback and I’m one of over 100. You know they didn’t look at your post and are only trying to generate traffic. I don’t play that game either.

That’s true, they only do it to generate traffic. Like State Sen. R. Clayton ‘Clay’ Davis in The Wire would have said: “that’s some shameful shiiiit.”

I like your idea of marking them as spam. I’m going to do that too.

I found that it’s a good solution, because the next time you get a pingback from them, it automatically ends up in the spam folder.
