Weekly Photo Challenge: Motion
I’ve been thinking about this for days and have drawn a blank. Birds fly by, hummingbirds visit the patio, many things are in motion but there hasn’t been anything this week that has inspired me to grab my camera.
Today though, I went out with a friend to play some tennis. There was plenty of motion there! But I wanted to play, not take photos of playing. But, how about a photo of anti-motion, the opposite of motion? I have a good one of that! For some reason there were green lizards hanging out in various places on the chain link fence. They didn’t move when we approached them, and they didn’t move for over an hour while we played. This guy looks about as unlikely to get into motion as anything I’ve seen for quite a while 😀
Hi Kris; Can I ask where exactly do you play tennis, I am a semi-retired US tennis professional and would like to know where are the courts you play at?

We were at Fertica. If you go away from David past Pricesmart, past other businesses heading west, you’ll see it on the north side of the Pan-American Highway. It’s a fertilizer and agricultural business, but there is a tennis court on the grounds and it has a roof which is great – no sun beating down on you. There is a tennis group that meets there Tuesday and Thursday mornings which has some really good players that you might enjoy. There are also courts at Club David but I’ve never been there. If you have to be a member to use them that would be quite expensive.
