Yesterday we drove to Boquete on a sunny late afternoon, ran into clouds and a bit of rain on the way, and arrived in the Boquete area just as the clouds were clearing. We couldn’t resist stopping at the Mirador to enjoy the beauty and take some photos.
I think the photos speak for themselves without captions. Every day I cannot believe our good fortune to live in this country surrounded by so much beauty.
We enjoy almost every day the beautiful scenery driving within 9 minutes down to Boquete from Jardines de Boquete (Alto Boquete).

Just before you head down the hill into the town of Boquete, there is a tourist center and coffee shop with a great area to look at the scenery and the valley below.

I got really lucky with these. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time, and my cheap little pocket camera performed better than usual. Glad you enjoyed them 🙂

Yes, but regardless of the tool, one can always tell when a photographer has that certain “eye for composition”, which you surely do. 🙂 You might consider marketing some of your shots!

I will be visiting Panama in December. I have family there and will be spending most of my time with family. I do plan on trying to find a bicycle and getting out on my own for a little bit. Is this advisable? I will be staying in La Chorrera or Panama City.

I live on the other side of the country and have no experience cycling in the Panama City area. There are a lot of people who do though. These folks frequently post about cycling events – https://www.facebook.com/RALI-Store-760973603966067/ I think the traffic is a bit nuts, but apparently they find good routes and/or learn to manage it.
