The back yard, with a comfortable shading sitting area (we had run off with the chairs to sit by the chicken house). The dog is Brownie, a sweet and friendly dog. Things look a bit brown because it’s the end of the dry season but when the rains return the grass will be green again. Not shown – the most recent arrivals, some baby chicks in an enclosure at the back of the yard. In a few months they should start providing eggs.
