A large iguana got into my yard, unfortunately my 2 large dogs got to it. It didn’t survive, so sorry, it was a large one. That is the enemy of the iguana, a dog. So glad yours was saved. Must have been a strange experience to hold it.
I suppose it is the job of the dogs to keep their territory free of critters, or they think it is their job.
Yes, it was strange to hold it. The skin felt surprisingly delicate, but it weighed a bit more than I expected. I was a special thing to be able to touch it.
