I love this gal’s attitude and sense of humor. Let’s see if I have successfully managed to share this article on my blog.

ooh, chris; she has a great writing style, but after the fourth ‘fuck’ and several ‘sucks,’ i x’d the page off my screen. i might be bohemian and open minded, but i still enjoy the reined-in emotions of someone who has control over their tongue. the foul language did not set well with me.
i LOVE he header image of the two hummingbirds! i’m lucky that my internet let me open your page today! hey, even the like button is available! yay yay yay! z

Agreed, and I try to keep my language clean too but I figure it’s her blog and she can talk however she likes, so I’ll go with that I do like about it.
I have a series of photos that WordPress randomly puts in the header if I haven’t specified something for that post. I was lucky to catch those hummingbirds sitting on the fence one day.

si. she’s an excellent writer, and i fear the ugly words might reflect the direction our younger generations are going.
feel free to remove my comments. i don’t want to hurt her feelings… z

On the other hand, if she is losing readers because of her language maybe that information would be useful.

I agree with all she says, but I also agree with the majority of the people. She is an excellent writer, but she could do better with leaving out the curse words. Maybe on her later blogs she will tone it done a little. But I can relate to her since I live on an Island that is far from the states and miss some things.

I’m sure all expats can relate to a lot of what she says, even if they aren’t a fan of the way she says it.

as a 27 year old female blogger, i can say it isn’t a generational thing, it’s a style thing. she’s definitely catering more (in my opinion) to the crowd around my age or even younger – she’s younger than i am. you can see it in her word choice, layout, even font choices at times. and that’s cool. we all have our markets 🙂

Very true. And, I figure if I pay her to do something for me, than I have say how it should be presented. In her own blog though she can say whatever she wants, and we can appreciate the good things about it or click on by if it isn’t what we want.
It’s interesting how much traffic this reblog has generated though!
