Weekly Photo Challenge: Adventure. This week, share a photo that says “adventure.” It could be an image of someone setting off on an epic journey, a photo you took on an adventure of your own, or something more metaphoric that represents a personal or psychological adventure.
This is an easy one for me since I have just arrived in Nicaragua. It is definitely an adventure to meet a fellow blogger, visit her country, and her home on Ometepe Island! Also check out her entry for this photo challenge HERE.
We cross the border from Costa Rica into Nicaragua and soon see windmills, a big lake, and one of the volcanos.
We arrive in town and take this bicycle cart to the ferry which will take us to the island in the lake.
We arrive on the island where we are met by my friend and fellow blogger!
After we arrive at her house the sun sets over the lake with these beautiful colors.
This morning met the source of the mooing – one of our neighbors, Princess.
Last but hardly least, we took a walk down the road to the end of the airport runway where there is a beautiful view of the volcano.

I woke up early and ran and did all of my errands because I just knew you’d have pictures up today. You didn’t disappoint!
You can thank Deb this time. When a new photo challenge comes out she gets right on it, so she inspired me to get busy too. Glad you liked them 🙂
These are great…keep em coming!
Thanks! Will do

Lovely set of photographs, Kris. Never knew there was a great view by the airport. With the clouds hanging above the volcano, it looks like one massive chimney! It’s always nice meeting new people. Hope you have a wonderful time with your blogger friend 🙂
Thanks so much, glad you enjoy the photos 🙂 the more we get out, the more we find great views everywhere! We are having a great time, thanks, and the people here are great.
