Fidget Spinner deal

What is a Fidget Spinner?? Apparently it’s the latest toy, a little triangle thing that you can hold in the center and spin. Oferta Simple has an offer today (click the link). You can get yours for $5 (instead of $10) but you have to go to Panama City, a store in El Congrajo for this deal.

According to the ad, the gadget helps reduce stress, it’s addictive, high quality, helps you concentrate, de-stress, and relax. You can use it at work, in class, or at home. It’s even good for people with ADD or autism. It is designed for comfort in your fingers and easy spinning. Pretty good for $5 huh?

Now you know what a fidget spinner is. I didn’t know myself until recently. Thankfully I don’t feel the need to de-stress or have something to fidget with, so I’ll leave it to the stressed people in Panama City to report back on how it works for them.

I’m retired. Don’t need that. But if they have a spinner that spins cash into my bank account I’ll take a dozen! 🙂

    Hola Kris,
My first encounter with these is my grandson (age 8) handing me 3 and asking if I could fix them. He had dropped them on the playground and they were filled with dirt. He explained that one was his, one was his school buddy, and one was his mom’s (?).
I got them apart, blew out the grit, oiled them, and good to go. Since then, I have seen 3 more as each grand daughter has one. I guess it does beat the fidget spinners I had, remember hula hoops?

Kris, when we were driving out of David and stuck in traffic, we saw a store there that had them in the window and was selling them. It was a store at or near a store with a sign in the window that said they repair and unlock Apple iPhones 5, 6 and 7. Personally I don’t want one but they are apparently everywhere.

    • They seem to be the latest cool gadget so I imagine they will be available here and there. I don’t want one either. I can accumulate enough silly things without help 😀

  4. Haha! We bought two glow in the dark fidgets for our taxi driver’s sons. When we were in the states, we wanted to bring the boys something little and this is all the rage in the states. We had to go to three stores looking for them and they were all sold out, so we ordered two online. Francisco, our taxi driver took me to Managua today. I asked him how the boys liked their fidgets and he said they are pretending to be airplanes everyday by putting the fidgets on their fingers and pretending they are propellers. Jeje.
