After the snow and winter wonderland of Sunday, Monday brought rain and warming temperatures.
Instead of snow, today there are raindrops on the trees.
The rain on the trees is also pretty.
The snow is disappearing.
We did a few errands, but otherwise stayed in. Later though, after my daughter came home from work, we headed in to the city.
This snowmen is melting i the rain.
Elizabeth and Joel wait for the monorail.
We went to EMP Music Museum. Joel and Elizabeth are looking at the huge collection of guitars in the center of the museum.
We waked to the Space Needle, but decided to wait until another visit when it might be better weather.
Elizabeth and Drew wait for the traffic light as we head for an Indian restaurant for dinner.
The natives are doing fine, while the guy from the tropics is all bundled up. (I can’t say anything myself, since I was equally bundled)
We had a wonderful time in Seattle but alas, all good things must come to an end so the kids can get back to their work and regular lives. I’m sure glad we had some time together though.
Tonight we arrived in California for a visit with my other daughter. There will be news and photos coming, and of course photos of the grandson.

We’ll be back in July when the weather will probably be clear so we’ll go up then. I’ve heard about the underground, and we’ll have to do that sometime too.

Pictures remind me of why we left Seattle many hears ago. Snow is beautiful and “Christmasy” for a day or two, but then it quits being fun. Thus our reason moving to Florida and now even this is too cold, so our next stop — Panama 🙂 See you in June 🙂
