Autumn’s First Bath

Baby’s first bath is always a fun occasion, at least for the adults. Of course grandma had to be there, camera in hand, for the occasion.

We had a baby bathtub, but it looked more suitable for an older baby so we elected to just use the bathroom sink.

Bath time went great! After a couple more baths, mom and dad are going to be pros.

Nice you could document this event for the parents and something to put in the baby book. It looks like all went well.

  2. Oh, so precious! My youngest hated getting her hair washed and would scream bloody murder each time and then play happily in the water afterward, haha. We actually got a video of her screaming and thrashing in the tub as I tried to wash her hair.

    • Oh dear! That sounds really difficult. Doesn’t it make you wonder what that was all about? Hopefully now that is only a distant memory

      • It was very traumatic for her if she got any water on her face. She for many years wouldn’t go under water in a pool or lake without full faced goggles. Even tubing behind a boat she would wear the goggles. But she now has no problem at all, just something she had to outgrow, I guess.

        • I can understand that. I don’t like water in my face either, mainly in my eyes but thankfully it isn’t a freak out thing, just annoying. Who knows what I did as a kid though. I’m glad your daughter has gotten past it and is able to enjoy water fun without problems!
