The River – more photos

We live next to a river and it’s a really beautiful place. I never get tired of going there with my camera! We are in the rainy season now and everything is incredibly green and lush.

Beautiful pictures of the river and wildlife! Do you have a mosquito problem with all the moisture?

    • Thank you! We have surprisingly few mosquitoes. I see a few now with all this rain, but the rest of the year we almost never see one. We have tons of birds, and I noticed when I went in the backyard at dusk today there were lots of bats flying around, and I’m sure that helps a lot. Many houses don’t have any screens, or even windows, something unthinkable in any other place I lived in the US. I think mosquitoes are a problem in some other parts of Panama, but they aren’t here.

  2. Spectacular pics..I’m glad you never tire of photographing the river!!!
