Weekly Photo Challenge: Depth Click here to see the details of this photo challenge.
“Depth” immediately made me think of our flight over Cuba on our trip to the US. The clear, blue, Caribbean water is really beautiful, and you can see through the depths of the water to the sand below.
It is so interesting to see through and below the water.
There were quite a few islands on the north side of Cuba.
This is the edge of the Bahamas where the shallow water drops off to much deeper water.
This island appears to be floating on the top of the water because of the shadows below.

Wow, beautiful!!!! Good thing your flight was during daylight! Did you make you miss Florida?
I know, it’s great when you can see the scenery below, and who would have ever thought I would see Cuba! No though, I don’t miss Florida. We’re having entirely too much fun here.
Reminds me of my recent flight to Cancun! So beautiful!
Oh good, so glad you enjoyed the photos 🙂
Yes – beautiful shots. I love the shadows of the clouds and the blues that you have captured. I would like to thank you for visiting my site as well. Love and Light!
Thanks 🙂 I was lucky to see all that from the plane window. It was a pleasure to visit your site too and see your beautiful photos. That’s the best thing about the photo challenges, finding other treasures you wouldn’t have seen otherwise.
