My interview is posted

My interview on the Expats Blog website is posted HERE

badge-featured-expat-150  I get a cool new graphic too 🙂

They have also invited me to write articles for their local expert section. I’ve only been here a few months and don’t feel like an expert. But, I’m thinking about it.

If you want to explore the site, the main page is HERE.  I think there are more and more people interested in expat living, or considering a move, or who have actually moved, so there is more need for sites like this one. It’s helps people get more information and connect with others who are doing the same thing, and hopefully make good decisions about such a major life change.

  2. I think posts you write like the one about the food store from yesterday qualifies you as an “local expert” and is the kind of material an expat blog would be looking for. It’s up to you if you want to write articles, but don’t underestimate yourself 🙂

Thank you 🙂 I think when I’m here a bit longer and learn more details like that, I will be more confident. But, this sort of thing is also very specific to David, not the country in general, and perhaps not as useful to people trying to decide to visit or live here.

      • Because you do go into some specific details though, it might give someone who is thinking in general of moving to think about some of the specifics and if the lifestyle is really for them. Also, some of those “first impressions” of someone who is new to the expat life might be pretty valuable to someone who has not made the leap yet. Just my thoughts, not trying to talk you into anything 🙂

Thanks, you have some good points. I’ve been talking with the people from the site and think I have a couple ideas to start with. I appreciate your thoughts 🙂
